Romans 2: 16

(Romans 2: 16)

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

What Paul said is the gospel is God's judgment. Also in Acts 17:30-31, "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. .

Many churches today do not talk about God's fearsome judgment, but introduce a loving God who encourages and encourages those in need. They say, "Everything in the world is extinguished and changed, but God's love never changes." Is the gospel preaching love or judgment? It will depend on who is the center. The human center always thinks of God's love. But the center of God is the judge who looks at the sinner. In the middle is Jesus Christ. Do people look at Jesus on the cross and think of God's judgment or God's love? Those who think first of God's love are fallen into delusion.

The place the Apostle Paul spoke of in Chapter 17 is Athens, Greece, called Areobago, and was the place of the Inquisition. Paul preaches that God created the whole universe and the earth. But at the end of the sermon, he said, "God created man, gave life and breath, but God overlooked it in a time when we didn't know it, but now he commanded everyone everywhere to repent." He said that if all people do not repent, they will be judged by God. However, many churches today say, "If you believe in Jesus, you will be saved."

In John 3:16, ``For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. These words are a gift of faith from God to those who repent. In Galatians 3:23, ``But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Paul says that he was trapped under the law until God gave him the gift of revelation faith. Faith trapped under the law is not a faith given by God, but a faith that one believes. This means the state of faith of the unrepentant. It is just the faith of those who seek God's love. It means that faith to heal sickness and faith to pursue ghosts is a faith that solves difficult circumstances, not a "changing faith."

Satan prevents people from seeing the revealed faith of God. So the Gospel is not Believe in Jesus, but Repent. The age of not knowing is when Jesus Christ died on the cross. Before and after Jesus comes is a different era. In Acts 17:31, The apostle Paul wrote, For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; He said neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: . This means that the outward Christian is not a Christian, but the inward Christian is a Christian. Inner Christian means a person who denies himself and dies in order to serve God with a self-centered and inner person. The Apostle Paul said, "God has set a day for him to judge the world with justice."

The Old Testament gives the last explanation of the destruction of Israel by Babylon from Adam, who was expelled from the Garden of Eden. It means that God judges all people. There is a day called Shabat to the Jews. July 10 Yom Kip (Atonement Day), if the Jews miss that day, the Lord judges it, so it is considered an important day for the Jews. So the Jews have always thought of God's judgment. However, the New Testament means "the man appointed by God judges the whole world with justice" on that day as the Old Testament says. That person is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came to this earth in the flesh. People killed him, but it is said that the Lord gave everyone reliable evidence by his resurrection after three days. The word gospel means good news. When Jesus was born, it was called good news because of the good news of great joy, but the news of that day is shocking news.

No matter how long you live in the church and think that you have great faith, a faith that has not changed is a dead faith that cannot be saved. Just as a man with a dead spirit cannot be saved, faith without works means dead. That action means obeying the word of the Lord. Why did Paul preach the words of judgment by introducing God the Creator to the Athenians who do not even know the Old Testament? God the Creator shows grace to everyone. It gives the same sunlight and rain as the field of the wicked or the field of the righteous. The Creator shows love from the beginning. But after the fall of man, sinners were unable to reach out to God. Sinners need the gospel of judgment, not God of love.
