Romans 4: 23-25
(Romans 4: 23-25)
Now it was not written for
his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall
be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was
delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
“If
you believe in Jesus, you will be saved” seems to be
saved if you believe. The cause of this is in Romans 4:2-3, “For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory;
but not before God. For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it
was counted unto him for righteousness. Because I think of People think that
when they believe in God, it is considered righteous to him. This is one's own
righteousness. But faith must be justified by God. That faith must come from
God to the repentant. The representative figure of his righteousness is Job.
God gave Job to Satan. Church Most of the people who first appeared in the book
would have come to church with the heart of “I believe
in Jesus.” But this belief is what he regarded as his
righteousness.
We must be reborn to
be justified by God. Just as Jesus rose to justify us, so we must die and be
reborn with Christ. Rebirth is resurrection. For resurrection, the former must
die. In Ephesians 6:1-2, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for
this is right. Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with
promise “When Mother's Day comes, many churches speak of this
word, which is linked to Ephesians 5:31-33.『For this
cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his
wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I
speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of
you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she
reverence her husband. 』 If the church doesn't say
what's ahead, it just tells the story of the world in 6:1-2. It would be
difficult if the church only talked about the world without telling the will of
God.
Many churches
try to link the "First Commandment with Promise" to the fifth
commandment of the Ten Commandments. However, the promise is the promise of the
seed and the land that God made to Abraham. The first is the promise to the
seed. Through circumcision, God speaks the covenant. In Genesis 17:10,
"This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed
after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. 』
Circumcision
is a ritual of cutting the body along with the seed's promise. It is the same
meaning as baptism in the New Testament. Baptism is a ritual of dying of the
body received from parents in water. So, the promise of the seed refers to
being reborn into the life of resurrection. In Ephesians 5:31, ``For this cause
shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and
they two shall be one flesh. 』What is this
secret? It means that the body received from parents is crucified with Jesus on
the cross, reborn as a spiritual body, and enters into Christ and becomes one
with Christ. Just as a couple is one, Jesus becomes the bridegroom of the born
again.
The church is
not a nicely built building, but the saints gathered in the building. The
regenerated believer means the church. In John 4:21, "Jesus saith unto
her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this
mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father."
Many people today refer to the church as a temple, but we hear a lot of talking
about buildings. This may be the result of not getting out of legal thinking.
It is unknown how many people are trapped in the net of the law today.
In John 4:24,
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in
truth. 』The spirit cannot survive unless you are reborn as a
spiritual body. So, unless you are reborn into a spiritual body by the power of
the Holy Spirit, that worship is not received by God. For this cause shall a
man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they
two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ
and the church. 』
It means that
Christ and the saints become one. So, when the spirit of the saints leaves
their parents and puts on the divine body given by God (denying the body they
received from the parents), just as a couple become one, Christ and the saints
become one. This is the expression “in
Christ.” In “in Christ,” it is in the Lord. This is a big secret.
